# Generate transcription and minutes
🖥️ Currently only available via our online web platform. This feature will soon also be available in the mobile app.
After you have [[Create or upload a recording|created or uploaded]] a meeting recording, you can generate a transcription and minutes from it.
## Transcription and AI minutes
When the recording is available, you can have it processed by the AI assistant.
1. Select a recording.
2. Click the **Generate tasks** button.
3. You will immediately see how many credits this costs.
4. Confirm with **Generate**.
The recording now automatically goes through the following statuses:
- **Minutes processing** – the AI is working on transcription and analysis.
- **Minutes generated** – the tasks and minutes are ready.
📧 You will receive an email as soon as the result is ready.
**Note:** Only wrap up a meeting once all recordings have been processed and the minutes are fully correct. After wrapping up (with the blue Wrap up button), you can **no longer** edit the meeting.
## Review and supplement minutes
1. Go to the **Minutes** tab to view the results.
2. Click **Start minute-taking** to open the minutes.
3. Correct the transcription text where necessary.
4. Add deadlines and responsible persons to tasks.
5. Add extra comments or decisions if desired.
When you add a responsible person and a deadline to a task, a task is automatically created in the meeting.
⚠️ **Important:** Only wrap up a meeting once all recordings have been processed and the minutes are fully correct. After wrapping up (with the blue Wrap up button), you can **no longer** edit the meeting.
