# 2. This way, you can always start quickly. When creating a meeting, first enter the name. Choose whether the meeting is **private** (only visible to invitees) or public (visible to all workspace members). You can also add a **reference**, which makes it easier to find meetings later via filters or the references tab. It is important to add **the goal** or description of the meeting. This ensures clarity and helps you meet more purposefully with a concrete result in mind. Then set **date, time and location**. If you have connected your Microsoft account, you can send **calendar invites** to participants directly. You can choose to hold the meeting via **Teams**, so a Teams link is automatically added. Also appoint a **chairperson and minute-taker**; they have permissions to manage the meeting and take minutes. Add **participants** from your workspace, but you can also invite **external participants**, such as clients or partners. Afterwards, you can choose to email them the minutes or give them access via the guest portal. You can also set **informed users**: workspace members who do not participate in the meeting but may view the minutes. Finally, there is the option to allow everyone to take minutes, so multiple participants can make notes, which is normally limited to the chairperson and minute-taker.
