# Wrap up a meeting
When your meeting is finished and all minutes are final, you can wrap it up. This ensures that all minutes are **frozen** and can no longer be edited. In this way, you build a reliable record of all meetings step by step.
1. Open the meeting you want to wrap up.
2. Choose whether you want to **schedule the next meeting** immediately.
- In follow-up meetings, previous actions and decisions are automatically carried over so you can discuss or close progress.
- You can also do this later via the button at the top left in a finalized meeting.
3. Decide whether you want to share the minutes as a **PDF by email** with the participants.
- Does the meeting have external participants? Then you will see a separate checkbox to share the minutes with them as well.
4. Click **Wrap up**.
- The current meeting is finalized.
- A new meeting is automatically created and opened immediately.
After wrapping up, the meeting is fixed and you can always refer back to it for a complete and unalterable report.
